The Hardin County Tigers took control after an early lead McNairy Central lead and never looked back in a 59-37 victory over the Bobcats on Nov. 24. 

The Bobcats last led by one at the 6:32 mark in the first period. 

Hardin County led 10-6 after the first period and outscored the Bobcats 21-13 in the second period to take a 31-19 halftime lead. 

The Tigers scored 10 in the third to McNairy Central’s nine to take a 41-28 lead going into the fourth. 

The Bobcats turned the ball over 20 times, 16 on Hardin County steals. 

Broderick Alexander led McNairy Central with 12 points, three assists and two steals. Jasper Sanders scored eight to go with one assist and one steal. Jack Johnson grabbed a team-high eight rebounds to go with six points and a steal. 

Marlon Yarbro scored a game-high 19 for the Tigers. Rivers Hunt finished with a game-high eight rebounds. Jake Gallik finished with nine points, one block, one assist and four steals. 

The Bobcats host Dyersburg on Friday. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
