Shiloh Battlefield to host Reptile Program in July

Shiloh Battlefield will host a reptile program inside the visitor center auditorium on the evening of Thursday July 21st, at 6:00 pm, Superintendent Woody Harrell announced today.
The program will begin with a presentation on the biology and description of the types of reptiles that can be found in the southeast. Reptiles are unable to regulate their body temperature, and because of this, they are the most active in the warmest months of the year, which is the summer season.
