Selmer Approves Cars for Kids Settlement

The Selmer Board accepted a proposed settlement of the Cars for Kids lawsuit last Tuesday at a special called meeting.
Under the terms of the settlement, $500,000 will be paid to the families of those who sued the city. The maximum liability that could be imposed under the Government Tort Liability Act is $600,000.
