The school board failed to choose a site for the proposed Selmer Elementary School or funding for it and the proposed new Adamsville school. The survey of the Selmer site was not ready, making a site plan and budget estimates impossible. The school board will still try to get the issue to the county commission and election commission by the Dec. 10 deadline for putting it on the March ballot, but is now looking at a fallback position of the August ballot.
