Rockabilly Car Show Winners

Staff Photo by Janet Rail

The 3rd Annual Rockabilly Car Show was a great success again this year with 122 entries coming from several states.  Attendees from as far away as Jacksonville, Florida were among the attendees who brought vehicles that dated from the early 1900’s through 1979.  West Court Avenue looked like a rainbow with the beautiful colors of the vehicles lining the street. Everyone received a wooden plaque with a picture of their vehicle in front of the Rockabilly Mural on Second Street and a Rockabilly plate depicting the logo and car show information. Twenty lucky antique autos were picked as “Rockabilly Choice” winners. These were vehicles that depicted the Rockabilly era. Pictured are some of the winners of those trophies which featured a 1950’s gas pump.
