Ramer Spring Festival

Ramer held its Spring Festival last Saturday at the Ramer Ball Park. There was an antique tractor pull, an antique tractor show, face painting, a rock climbing wall, a bounce house, food and drinks. The tractor pull was sponsored by the Dixie Iron Tractor Club. Several local candidates were on hand to talk to voters. Ronnie Brooks and Larry Smith who are running for Mayor, Sheriff Guy Buck, Judge Van McMahan and Terry Wood, who are running for General Sessions Judge, Sammy Hill and Harvey Neal Smith, who are running for Road Commissioner, and Jarrell Stanfield, who is running for reelection to the school board, were all there. Ramer Mayor George Armstrong, City Commissioner Kendall Summers, Ramer Ruritan Club President Wayne Elam and others were on hand to oversee the event.
