Rameil Pollard prepared for senior season

Rameil Pollard, a local standout basketball player with McNairy Central recently competed in the U.S. Junior Nationals. After attending the Basketball Jr. Nationals in Murfreesboro, Rameil was invited to participate in U.S. Jr. Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. The USA Jr. Nationals is an international competition for basketball players all over the United States.

Rameil is considered to be one of the top basketball players in this area. While in Columbus, Ohio, Rameil was coached by Phil Shumbert, Head Coach at Lawson State Community College. Coach Shumbert gave Rameil high praise. While competing at the U.S. Jr. Nationals, Rameil averaged over 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game along with several dunks.

Rameil is entering his senior year at McNairy Central High School.
