KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: THAT, WHEREAS, by deed of trust dated the 30th day of September, 2009 of record in Book 397, Page 1716, Register's Office of McNairy County, Tennessee, Melinda Joyce Harlan did convey in trust to Paul S. The Property sold pursuant to this Notice shall be sold "AS IS," "WHERE IS," without representations or warranties of any kind whatsoever, whether express or implied. The Town of Selmer is accepting applications and resumes for the position of Superintendent
for the Street & Sanitation Department.
The position of the Superintendent of this department has been created to assure orderly supervision and management of this department. Duties of the Superintendent include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Organization of the department to assure maximum effectiveness at a reasonable cost to the tax/rate payer.
2. Develop and submit annual budget to the board for this department.
3. Implement plans and policies, and directives inacted by the board for this department.
4. Make recommendations and provide justifaction for the hiring of new employees or discharge of existing employees.
5. Suspension of employees without pay until next regularly scheduled board meeting when he can recommend and effectively document permanent discharge of the employees.
6. Approve the use of vacation pay and sick pay for the department.
7. Assign and prioritize the duties of all employees, to include job transfers in the department.
