Perfect Attendance Recognition at Selmer Elementary

Perfect Attendance Recognition at Selmer Elementary

Submitted by: Pam Killingsworth

Madison Stackens and Hunter McCullar, fourth-grader students at Selmer Elementary School, were honored at fourth grade graduation for achieving perfect attendance. Hunter, a student in the class of Mrs. Teresa Chandler had perfect attendance for this school year 2010-2011. Madison, a student in Mrs. Bridget Harris’s class, has had perfect attendance since Kindergarten. This is a great achievement. Perfect attendance is based on being at school all day without any tardy check-ins or any early checkouts. We are very proud of both students and they and their parents are to be commended for being dedicated to school attendance. A very special commendation to Madison and her parents for being present every day since kindergarten. Perfect attendance for that length of time is very rare. Madison is the daughter of Gretchen Stackens and the granddaughter of Jerry and ClaudDella Stackens. Hunter is the son of David and Misti McCullar. What a “Perfect” way to end their school days at Selmer Elementary.
