All 18 students in Mrs. Lisa Goodman’s class, at Selmer Elementary, read over a combined total of 1000 books since January.. Each student earned 25 points in the Accelerated Reading Program. The students began the program in January and finished May 2. Twenty-five points was the goal set for all kindergarten students. Mrs. Lisa is very proud of her students and their parents for reading every night! A special thanks to these parents for helping assist the students while testing at school: Mrs. Amanda Harville, Mrs. Molly Moore and Mrs. Christie Tucker. Because of generous contributions from several individuals the students were rewarded with a field trip to Chickasaw State Park with lunch from McDonalds.
