Memorial Day in Selmer

Dozens of veterans, family members, friends and supporters of the military from the McNairy County area came out on Memorial Day morning to remember our fallen troops and the sacrifice each of them have made to preserve our freedom. Commander John Anderson of Post 162 (Selmer) American Legion opened the ceremony. Anderson introduced the keynote speaker and Operation Enduring Freedom veteran, Col. Cooper was escorted by Selmer Boy Scouts Matthew Williams and Wesley Moore.
