McNairy County initiates five new  Tennessee 4-H Honor Club Members

Five new members were inducted into the Tennessee 4-H Honor Club February 26, 2011.  This honor is obtained by completing an application detailing a member’s 4-H activities, and obtaining enough points to qualify for membership.  Current and new members are pictured here  (front row, l to r):   Briana Wilson (Initiate),  Dylan Riggs ((Initiate), Heather McCormick (Current Member), Macey Johnson (Initiate), and Danielle Harstin (Initiate); (2nd row, l to r):  Wesley Moore (Initate), and Bryce Moore (Current Member).   McNairy County Extension offers programs in agriculture and natural resources, 4-H youth development, family and consumer sciences, and resource development.  The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and McNairy County governments are cooperating.  UT Extension provides equal opportunities in programs and employment.  Tennessee 4-H Honor Club focuses on Leadership and Citizenship activities, and is open to youth in grades 4-12.  Congratulations to these outstanding youth!
