District playoffs were held at McNairy Central this year in AA softball. The Lady Bobcats went up against the Liberty Lady Crusaders in round one and beat them with a run rule score of 10-0 in the top of the seventh.

Brianna Phelps hit her first out of the park homerun in the fifth inning. Kelcey Amerson had the win from the circle. Kindra Brown and Jacey Whirley each hit a double. 

The Lady Bobcats were tested the next day after prom with a rivalry matchup with Chester County. McNairy lost 3-7 after a complete game.

After two homeruns hit by the Lady Eagles, Chester took the lead of 4-3. With two runners left on base, the sixth inning went scoreless for the Lady Cats then Chester made three additional runs in the bottom to hold the lead. 

Amerson pitched. Robin Matlock was 2 for 4. Courtney Robinson and Brown each hit a double. Mikaela Rowland, Chelsea Bodiford, and Robinson made the three runs around the diamond.

Losing their shot at second, the Lady Cats began the battle for third with the first game against the Bolivar Lady Tigers. 

McNairy won, for the second time last week with a run-rule. Brown made the last run and set the final at 15-0 in the bottom of the fourth.

Robin Matlock hit a homerun in the third. Robinson hit a double and Amerson hit a triple. Bodiford, Amerson and Phelps went 3 for 3. Kelly Moore, Robinson, and Rowland was 2-3 at the plate.

Brown pitched, holding Bolivar to zero runs, and went 2-3 with a walk.

The Lady Bobcats hold an overall record of 21-11 (12-5) and were to face the South Side Lady Hawks on Tuesday for third place.
