A fire caused significant damage to a residence at 314 Westwood Circle on Sept. 25.

Selmer firefighters responded to a call at the residence of Wilma Kinneburgh at 10:01 p.m. and were on scene four minutes later to find a fire in the carport of the structure with smoke also pouring out of windows in the attic.
