So far, the Region 8-A Tournament has been a roller-coaster ride for the Lady Cardinals. They dominated their quarterfinal matchup with Westwood but had to rally from nine down in the fourth quarter to defeat Middleton in the semis. 

The semifinal win earned Adamsville a substate berth and advanced the girls to the Region 8-A Championship where they will attempt to corral the Lady Mustangs of Madison for a second time in a championship game this postseason. The game will be hosted by Trinity Christian Academy in Jackson, Tenn, and tip-off is tonight at 7 p.m.

Win or lose, the Lady Cards are guaranteed one more game. A loss would mean they will travel to play the winner of Lake County and Union City on Saturday, but a win would bring the substate game to Adamsville.
