The last time the Lady Cardinals beat the Lady Bobcats on the basketball court, George W. Bush’s approval rating was still above 50 percent, and the Tennessee Volunteers were the most recent SEC team to claim a national championship.

The Lady Bobcats’ 19-game win streak was all but over when Taylor Hutton drilled a three-pointer to put the Lady Cardinals up 53-52 with 11 seconds left in overtime. The shot led to Adamsville’s first win over McNairy Central since 2002.
