There was a fire last Thursday at a Ramer house on 138 Chewalla Rd. The house, which is probably going to end up a total loss, according to Ramer Fire Chief Jamie Robertson, was owned by Andrew Parrish. The historic house was built in 1906. “The fire was contained to the east end of the house, but there was smoke and water damage throughout,” Robertson said. Firefighters from Ramer, Eastview and Chewalla responded to the fire. According to Robertson the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
