Hola Amigos!  Mrs. Amy’s 1st Grade class at Selmer Elementary celebrated Cinco de Mayo with a day full of learning and creative activities.  The students enjoyed singing many of their favorite “Dr. Jean” songs in English and in Spanish.  The songs were followed by a little Mexican dancing and fun.  Students were then treated to some tasty and somewhat spicy Mexican treats.  The day ended with a piñata full of treats.  Some of the students were overheard saying, “This is the best day ever!” Adios Chicos!! Tener Diversion Verano!! (Good-bye children! Have a Fun Summer!!
