A severe thunderstorm raked across McNairy County last Monday bringing with it estimated wind gusts of nearly 70 mph. The fast moving storm damaged at least one home on Friendship Road near Ramer, knocked out power to hundreds of residents and downed dozens of trees and power lines across the county.
