A one-car accident claimed the life of an Enville man on May 17. According to State Trooper Kennie Lamberth, Norman H. Shelton was driving a silver 2004 Ford Escape southbound on Highway 224 when he ran off the right side of the road. His car then overturned and Shelton was ejected from his vehicle. Shelton was declared dead at the scene by McNairy County Medical Examiner Dr. James King and was transported to McNairy Regional Hospital.
