The Selmer 9-10 year-old All-Stars came up big last week as they beat the Savannah All-Stars twice in a double-header to win the District 7 championship.

Selmer won their first game in the championship round by a score of 11-4, and continued to swing hot bats as they came away with a 12-2 victory in the second game. After winning the district title, Selmer will have a better seed in the Dixie Youth AAA State Tournament, which will be played in Jackson, Tenn., beginning July 19.
