The Jackson Diamond Dawgs won the championship title in the Snowden Slam Global World Series Qualifier recently in Southaven, Miss. The Dawgs beat Mississippi’s #1 rated AAA team, the Desoto Cardinals, for the win with a record of 4-1. Local players Chase Smith, son of Darren and Regina L. Smith, of Selmer, and Hunter Denbow, of Henderson.
