Charlie Dampeer was chosen Friday as the new McNairy Central High School Bobcat Football Coach by the McNairy County Board of Education from seven different applicants.

“We had seven team applicants and we had seven interviews,” said Superintendent Charlie Miskelly. “After the process, we felt that Mr. Dampeer was the best fit for our program.”

Dampeer will meet and begin coaching the Bobcats during spring football practice to help turn around their previous 2-8 season.
