•Bible Study Opportunity

The bible study course of Luke and Acts featuring Explorer’s Bible Study material will begin August 11, 2011 at the Michie Civic Center from 6:30 p.m. til 8:00 p.m. Explorer’s Bible Study is an interdenominational study which focuses exclusively on scripture.  It is an in-depth study that will provide cultural and historical context as well as spiritual application. The class will meet each consecutive Thursday evening from 6:30 - 8:00, and will be taught by Penny Robbins.  The cost for the course will be approximately $ 70.00  For more information or to pre-register please call 731-239-8521.

•Solitude Free Will Baptist

  Revival

August 3rd - 5th - Each night at 7 p.m. there will be a different speaker from local churches and their church will present opening hymns & special music nightly. All services at Solitude FWB, 414 Meeks Rd., For information call 645-0021.

•Yard Sale

Adamsville Church of God of Prophecy, located on Hwy 22 road that turns off to Aqua Glass. August 4th and 5th, Thur. and Fri.  8 a.m.- 5 p.m. each day.

Nice cool inside shopping. Money will be used to replace church furnace.

August 6

•Singing

Gateway Holiness Chapel will be having a singing August 6 at 7 p.m. with the Downs Family. Everyone is invited. Call 731-934-9476 or 731-610-5759 for information. Love offering will be taken.

August 7

•Homecoming & Revival

Homecoming at Mt. Vernon Cumberland Presbyterian Church will begin during morning worship, Sun.,  Aug. 7th. A potluck lunch will be held after morning worship. Revival services will start at 7 p.m. and continue through Wednesday at 7 p.m. each evening. Evangelist, Dr. George Estes will be the preacher. Special music will be part of each night’s service. 

•Revival

Revival at Court Avenue Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Sunday, Aug. 7 through Wednesday Aug. 10.  Sunday potluck meal at 4:30 p m and worship service at 6:00 p m.  Weeknights services at 7:00 p m.  Visiting minister is Rev Curtis Franklin and special music each night.  Everyone welcome!

•Homecoming/Singing

Oak Grove Independent Methodist Church in Pocahontas, TN will host the Kellys from Lawrenceberg, TN. Singing starts at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Everyone is invited.
