Robert P. Ervin and a friend from Kankakee, IL arrived in Bethel on Sunday night and spent several days in the home of Eugene and Shirley Williams.
He came to Memphis on business and drove to Bethel to do some business here, and to visit other relatives and friends. He left on Wednesday for home.
Wheaty Martin, George Hurst, Troy A. Hurst of the Purdy community and Marcus Ervin of Savannah, TN motored to Jackson on Saturday evening. They stopped in Montezuma for a visit with Cecil and Reba Fay Croom.
Shirley Williams, Mozella Baldridge and T.C. Williams went shopping in Corinth, MS Saturday evening. They ate lunch at Captain D’s Restaurant.
Douglas C. Williams from Nashville, TN came down for the weekend to visit his parents, Nathaniel and Shirley Williams and grandmother, T.C. Williams, and worshiped at New Bethel U. M. Church on Sunday Morning.
