The Red Hat Ladies visited the nursing home in Adamsville on Tuesday. The residents are always happy to see us come. There were about thirteen residents who came for the visit in the recreation center. They put their hats on to take a part. Agnes Walker, our chairman led the group in a Bible class. Wanda Miller, T. C. Williams, Mozella Baldridge, and Martha Nell Crum assisted the ladies in the art & drawing. They made the wicked old king & Noah’s Ark to carry to their rooms for decoration. After the class they were given bags of candy & other items to enjoy. We were welcomed by the activities lady & other members of the nursing home. They always look forward to our coming. Welcome us back soon. T. C. & Mozella visited some of the residents: McAuthur Robinson, Mr. Irons, Mr. L. Enns, Versie Massengill & Freddie Welch.
Nathaniel E. and Shirley Williams spent the weekend in Nashville on business. While there the children took their daddy out for a pre-Father’s Day dinner, enjoyed by all.
L. C. Shelton & Theresia came home from Atlanta, GA for a few days. Will return soon. They were doing fairly well. Let us keep them in our prayers. God is able.
Bro. Anthony Menzies & wife from Jackson, TN visited Eugene & Shirley Williams Saturday evening. We had several visitors at the morning service at New bethel U. M. last Sunday.
The Spirit of God assures us that we need not beg nor plead. According to his riches God will supply our need. Any problem we must face God’s power will overcome. Our loving acts and words will show God’s will is being done. We know that God is Love and feel Christ’s presence deep with us for who abides in love abides in God and God in Him.
