A Selmer man was injured in an automobile accident last Friday on Highway 45 near the Industrial Park in Selmer. Earl W. Basinger, 49, of Selmer was transported by Emergency Medical Services ambulance to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. As of last Monday, Basinger was in critical condition, according to a spokesperson for the hospital.
