Opening the season on the road against stiff competition, Adamsville played five games in five days at the Tomahawk Classic in Jackson, Tenn. last week.

After starting the season off with a bang, going 2-0 in their first two home games, the McNairy Central Bobcats went into the Mooreville Trooper Class in Mississippi last week with high hopes and walked out on top after winning three of their four games.

Lt. Brad Wilbanks of the Tennessee Highway Patrol brought the Mobile Inspection Station to Spectrum last Friday. The station has several uses, according to Wilbanks.

“Of course, in the event of a natural disaster or emergency it could be used. What we are using it for right now is checking commercial vehicles,” Wilbanks said.
