Knocking out two wins at home, McNairy Central sent the Hardin County Tigers packing with a 52-37 victory from the Lady Bobcats and a 67-55 final by the Bobcats. By the end of the games, both the girls’ and boys’ teams sent in their bench players in for playing time. Something had to give in the matchup between two winless teams, Houston and Adamsville, last Saturday night, and it was not the Cardinals losing streak. Last Friday, a reliable source in McNairy County reportedly saw a creature resembling a black panther in the woods outside of Selmer. The sighting occurred near McNairy Central High School.
