McNairy Central had a busy week of tennis, with matches against Sacred Heart, South Side and Chester County. The Bobcats added one loss and two wins to their record in the action. 

Passion, intensity, controversy; these are all words one can associate with a rivalry game. 

The Adamsville Cardinals swept a pair of district contests last week against Middleton to improve their district record to 5-3. 

The West TN Court Cats High School boys and Jr. High boys teams recently competed in the Quake Lake Classic this past weekend.  

The Adamsville High School Lady Cardinals hosted Middleton on Thursday and celebrated Senior Night with a 17-1 victory over the Lady Tigers.

After two forfeited games from Jackson Central Merry, the McNairy Central Lady Bobcats suspected forfeits from Fayette Ware in the scheduled double-header, just as the team did last year. 

The McNairy Central Bobcats took on the undefeated Trinity Christian Academy Lions on Tuesday, April 19.  In a tight game, TCA continued their winning streak with a final score of 2-1, setting a 9-0 season.

Mayor David Leckner announced Monday evening at the regular monthly commission meeting that the City will acquire 17 acres of land this week. 

On Friday, youth and adult volunteers gathered at the Michie City Park to improve the facility.
